The trend for increased firearms sales (particularly for personal defense, home defense, and concealed carry) continues to rise among all market demographics. And at the same time, gun-related crime continues to drop nationwide. The NSSF research indicates this trend dates back to the early 1990s, and since that time, the firearms crime rate has dropped dramatically and continues to do so as more Americans own firearms.
